50 Nuances d'été- Summer in Montréal

Something a little different this week! Although I love to snap pictures of my munchkin, it's also fun to find some new subject matter from time to time.

Summer in Montreal means festivals, outdoor exhibits, food trucks, vacation...and it also means construction, uncertain weather, traffic and not enough time to do all that you want to do.

On my way to meet a friend for supper last week, I decided to take a walk and be a tourist in my own city. Summer just seems to fly by, and I don't always take the time to appreciate the beauty and contrasts that this city offers. Even the most mundane things can be beautiful in the eye of a photographer! A few snapshots later, here's a look at Montreal, a Thursday night in July.

The summer fills the downtown streets with cyclists.

Beauty and the beast. The city is filled with beautiful flowers, but unfortunately, the constant construction seems to spoil these efforts all too many times.
