Légendes d'automne-Creating

Halloween is a pretty big deal at our house. My daughter loves to dress up, and for the past few years, putting her costume together has been a team effort.

This year, she decided she wanted to be a mermaid. After some research on Pinterest (of course), I thought I would make her costume, but luckily, I found a costume at the department store that had enough sparkle to satisfy my girly girl. Of course, nothing could stop us from adding some signature touches to outfit!

Sequins, glitter paint, seashells...all set up bedazzle our outfit!

Her concentration always impresses me. Such a little artist.

An embellished tiara, what more could a mermaid want?

The weekend was not all mermaids and glitter. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and spent some time at the park, and we built legos...lots and lots of legos! I love the fact that she uses her creativity in many different ways.

A lazy Sunday morning, enjoying the sunshine and building another masterpiece.

Creativity is expressed in so many different ways, and I am glad that my daughter and I can find activities that use our boundless imagination. Now go visit Geneviève's post, who used her creativity in the kitchen this weekend. Have a great week!
